The crew noticed many times about the "lack of windows" in the omniship RT-874, especially the ones who had worked in spacecrafts in the past and knew that it was normal for spacecrafts to have windows.
What is important to note is that they were talking about special windows and that were created for the purpose of facilitating visual procedures like VNP (Visual Navigational Procedure) docking or landing. Those windows were always small, reinforced, and protected by anti-radiation systems. In other words, windows were structural weaknesses and they were avoided even in spacecrafts.
