How the virtual worlds are called by humans. Not all runs are games, but all games are runs.

The main devices used to play these runs are the snubbers. They are powerful computers and by themselves can run complex realities. However, if the players are trying to run really complicated runs (like an entire universe), they will have to run in the cloud. In this case, the snubbers act transferring their consciousness to the datacenters, so that the run can be executed with the least interference.
