In the universe of the Brain’s Cage, each planet or space station has their own calendar (or calendars), but the standard measurement of time across the Complex is the Cyclic System. The Cyclic System is a timestamp system that started exactly at 4 May, 5055 at 00:00:00 in the Gregorian Calendar (5055-05-04T00:00:00Z). This zero point is called the Cycle 0 and happened exactly at the creation of the Hyperlink, which originated the Complex and is today considered the birth of syrakis.

Besides the Cyclic System, to a minor scale syrakis also make use of the Standard Calendar, which is a Gregorian Calendar but that is not counted before and after the birth of Christ, but before and after the creation of the Hyperlink (BH stands for Before Guild, and AH stands for After Hyperlink).
